Preparations for GITEX Europe 2026 are entering their final phase, and the interest of companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina in participating in this event confirms the growing focus of the domestic IT industry on internationalization and tangible business results.

Following last year’s appearance, when the Bosnia and Herzegovina pavilion brought together more than 30 companies that held a significant number of B2B meetings, established new international contacts and partnerships, this year’s edition further confirms that companies recognize such participation as an investment with clear business effects. An increasing number of companies are approaching participation strategically, with predefined goals and clear expectations.

GITEX Europe 2026 will take place on June 30 and July 1 in Berlin, with more than 1,400 exhibitors, 750 startups, and a large number of investors and speakers from around the world expected to attend. Bit Alliance is once again leading the organization of the Bosnia and Herzegovina delegation, with the support of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through a joint participation model that provides additional value to companies.

As highlighted by Damir Maglajlić, the key advantage lies precisely in the way the industry presents itself on the international stage:

“When companies appear together, as part of one industry and one country, the effect is multiplied. Such an approach attracts greater attention from partners, investors, and the media, and gives companies additional credibility. In that environment, it is much easier to initiate serious business discussions and access concrete opportunities that are often out of reach individually,” emphasized Maglajlić.

GITEX Europe brings together leading global companies, investors, and decision-makers from more than 100 countries, enabling companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina direct access to relevant markets and partners. In such an environment, joint participation becomes even more impactful, as it increases visibility and facilitates positioning among competitors.

Through the Bosnia and Herzegovina pavilion, companies are provided with pre-arranged meetings, coordinated promotion, and support throughout the entire process, which directly enhances the quality of interactions and the potential for achieving concrete business results.

In the final stage of preparations, Bit Alliance invites all interested companies to confirm their participation, noting that the application deadline has been extended until April 30, 2026. All companies can apply via email at contact@bit-alliance.ba. Timely application enables inclusion in all preparatory activities that directly influence the success of participation.

For companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, this type of organized, joint participation represents an opportunity to achieve stronger international visibility, higher-quality business contacts, and long-term development in the global market.
