GITEX Europe 2026 opened today in Berlin, one of the most significant European technology events, which brings together companies, investors, startups, the public sector and digital transformation leaders from all over the world. This year, Bosnia and Herzegovina is represented through the national pavilion, organized by Bit Alliance, with the aim of promoting the domestic IT sector, strengthening international visibility and opening new opportunities for business cooperation.

At the national pavilion, more than 20 companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with institutions and partners, are presenting the capacities of the domestic IT industry in the areas of software development, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, digital transformation, cyber security and innovation. Their presence confirms the strength, diversity and export potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina. of the IT sector.
This year's presentation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is realized with the support of the institutional partners of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, gold partner BH Telecom, as well as partners Gazzd and MySim2Go.

During the two days of the fair, visitors to the BH pavilion will have the opportunity to learn about the work of companies and organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, discuss potential collaborations and attend a program that deals with current topics of digital transformation. The program includes sessions on the return of investments in artificial intelligence, cloud technologies in the telecom industry, the role of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a digital growth partner, the digital transformation of companies, as well as the presentation of the domestic startup ecosystem.
"The Chamber of Foreign Trade of Bosnia and Herzegovina recognizes the ICT sector as one of the important drivers of the modernization of the domestic economy. Through the work of the ICT Association, which brings together key telecom operators, IT companies and other actors, as well as through the partnership with Bit Alliance, the Chamber strives to further strengthen the connection of the economy with new technologies and market opportunities. With more than 1,100 companies and more than 12,000 employees, the ICT sector achieves strong export results. Export of IT services in 2025 "is greater than 800 million KM, which confirms its growing role in creating added value and strengthening the economic stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
