The long-standing cooperation with SSST University continues with greater intensity

At the beginning of June, a meeting was held on the occasion of the renewal of the previously signed Cooperation Agreement between the University of Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST) and Bit Alliance, which was attended by the executive director of SSST University, Emir Ganić, while Damir Maglajlić, executive director of the Bit Alliance Association, attended the meeting on behalf of Bit Alliance. The meeting was also attended by prof. Dr. Nedim Čelebić, professor at the Faculty of Economics and dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, prof. Dr. Belma Ramić-Brkić.

During the meeting, the previously signed Cooperation Agreement with this institution, which has been operating for a long time as a center of initiatives for the growth and development of education, research work, as well as mutual cooperation with many companies from different industries, including the ICT sector, was confirmed.

"SSST University continuously works with industry partners, which provides practice and experience for our students. Bit Alliance is an important partner for us in the IT industry, and this cooperation will help create a better future for young people at SSST University and in BiH," said Emir Ganić, executive director of SSST University.

During the meeting, they discussed previously agreed activities related to the organization of joint events, student internships, and support for young people in realizing their ideas. It was decided that, after two years of slower activities during COVID-19, cooperation will be ensured through several key initiatives that will summarize the efforts invested in digitization, innovation and technological achievements visible in the activities of SSST University students, and industry support, which will be provided by the Bit Alliance within its branched professional network.

"Education and constant work and progress on it is one of the main pillars of Bit Alliance's activities, and in this regard we believe that this cooperation will bring significant improvement by improving opportunities for young people. I think this will open up a lot of opportunities for us to organize different types of student internships and other types of cooperation with the university." said Damir Maglajlić, executive director of Bit Alliance.

Such initiatives related to the cooperation between the universities of Bosnia and Herzegovina with companies, associations and others that directly or indirectly participate in improving the quality of knowledge of our students is an extremely important factor, both in the study process itself, and in the creation of benefits for later employment. Acting in the sphere of education itself has a significant effect on the improvement of future opportunities and initiatives in all industries as well as spheres of activity.
