Study visit to Tešanj: Digital transformation

As part of the study visit to the Municipality of Tešanj, which was focused on examples of good practices in the field of digital transformation of the local self-government unit, guests from the municipalities of Ilijaš, Fojnica, Kakanj, Centar Sarajevo and the cities of Živinica and Lukavac had the opportunity to learn about initiatives and projects, positive practices and challenges that the Municipality of Tešanj has faced in previous years, as well as plans for the future.

The mayor of the municipality, Suad Huskić, opened the event, emphasizing the importance of digital transformation for the improvement of local communities. Aleksandar Mastilović, consultant for the creation of the Digital Transformation Roadmap, presented the methodology by which the Roadmap was created, while Aidin Ibrahimkadić, coordinator of the Smart City project in Tešnje, shared experiences and plans for future digital innovations.

Special attention of the guests was attracted by the Strategy management application, which was presented by author Nermin Kantić and strategic planning expert Almir Ljevaković, while Mirko Gajić and Ana Lojić from the Lanaco company demonstrated Smart City solutions, highlighting the implementation of Smart Parking in Tešanj Municipality.

Amira Omanović, program manager of GIZ in Bosnia and Herzegovina, concluded the event by thanking those present for their engagement and support.

As the final part of the visit, the guests visited the premises of the newly opened Tech-lab, where they were welcomed by the director of TRA, Edin Ibrahimović, who presented plans and ideas for future innovations in the Technology Center.
