Signed Memorandum of Cooperation between JU Mixed Secondary Technical School Travnik and Bit Alliance

On Tuesday, February 14, 2023. year, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between JU Mixed Secondary Technical School Travnik and Bit Alliance. The memorandum was signed by the director of the school, Izeta Omerdić, and the executive director of Bit Alliance, Damir Maglajlić.


The cooperation was established with the primary goal of upgrading the skills of professors and students, and directing them towards the needs of the labor market within the IT industry. As they said from the Mixed Technical High School Travnik, this is especially significant when you take into account that out of 720 students, 350 of them are pursuing the profession of Information Technology Electrical Technician.


"The goal of this cooperation is for our school, with the help of the Bit Alliance, to make a step forward in digitalization in education and the creation of competent students with usable knowledge. This cooperation will enable our school to take part in various projects that will bring us benefits on various grounds, and it will also enable digitalization for other professions such as the textile and mechanical industry. The development of IT skills among students that can be used in the real sector will also contribute to the Travnik municipality's aspiration to become recognizable in creating conditions for attracting the IT industry to our city. Thank you Bit Alliance for recognizing us as a school that has potential and that we will make significant strides in the IT world in the future," said the director of MSTŠ Travnik, Izeta Omerdić.

 


"Bit Alliance has been significantly investing its efforts in improving the education system in Bosnia and Herzegovina for many years, and we believe that by signing this Memorandum of Cooperation, we will significantly contribute to the improvement of the work of professors and students, as well as IT programs in general in secondary schools. We believe that the path of strengthening and empowering the IT industry and general economic improvement lies precisely in investing in educational institutions that educate the future personnel of our country" - said the executive director of Bit Alliance, Damir Maglajlić.
