In the past period, representatives of the Bit Alliance and the International Organization Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V. signed a grant agreement for the "IT & Media Cooperation Workshop" project, which will enable the creation of better synergy and understanding between IT companies and the media.
The contract was signed by the director for Bosnia and Herzegovina in front of the Help International Organization, Almin Adžović, and the executive director of Bit Alliance, Damir Maglajlić. The signing was attended by Program Manager Darijan Bilić and Grant Officer Vildana Džekman on behalf of Help, while Operations Manager Kristina Erak and Associate for Marketing and Projects Hamza Čengić attended Bit Alliance.
"It is very important to us as an organization that we are able to help the further development and strengthening of the IT sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this way, we help both young people and women, and marginalized groups who can find attractive employment in that sector. In addition, the IT sector is an exceptional story of our country that can offer young people the opportunity to stay within our country and reduce the level of migration to other countries. We hope that this is just the beginning of our cooperation with the Bit Alliance, which gathers and helps the largest number of IT companies in our country" said Darijan Bilić.

"We believe that with this project we will significantly contribute to the cooperation of the media in Bosnia and Herzegovina with companies in the IT sector, and that we will be able to create links that will in the future contribute to the external perception of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and specifically the IT sector within its borders. In order to realize the full potential of the IT industry, and therefore the economy in general, it is necessary to educate the public about the possibilities and needs of this industry. The first step towards educating the public is educating the media." said Damir Maglajlić.
