The testing phase of the "Citizen Patrol" application in the area of the City of Zvornik has been successfully completed, and this system has been available to citizens since last week.
This unique application enables citizens to report utility and other problems in their environment, anytime and anywhere, via their mobile devices. The main mission is to achieve faster and more efficient communication between citizens and local authorities, with the aim of realizing the common good.
Bojan Vuković, director of the company DVC Solutions, which created the application, said that this system has already been implemented in Banja Luka, Brčko, Pale and as of today in Zvornik.
"Zvornik received an improved version of the system that passed the so-called children's diseases during the application of the application in Banja Luka. We believe that this solution will contribute to a better quality of life in Zvornik, that citizens will actively get involved and send applications, thus encouraging employees in the public service to react adequately. The great thing is that the citizen can see the application status and the city's comments at any moment, so that he is always up to date with what is happening with his application," said Vuković.
Zvornik has joined the cities and municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina that want to improve their business and digitally transform themselves in due course.
"By implementing projects like this, the city of Zvornik shows its openness and willingness to tackle all the problems of its citizens and to solve them through joint activities. Even in the drafting of the valid city strategy, we pointed out that we want to improve the lives of our citizens and apply the postulates of a smart city in Zvornik. The civic patrol is only one step towards the realization of the set goals and the digital transformation of the public administration. With this application, we give our citizens a tool in their hands so that they can more closely monitor how we work." pointed out Zoran Stevanović, mayor of Zvornik.
"The project started in 2021 and I can already proudly say that numerous activities in the area of digitization have been started in all 5 units of local self-governments that are participants in the project. I hereby congratulate the city of Zvornik because it is one of the progressive LGUs that is paving the way for digitization for all others," said Kristina Erak, operations manager and project coordinator from Bit Alliance.
We invite all citizens of the City of Zvornik to be up-to-date and use the application, which can be downloaded via the link.
The application adapted to Palam is donated by DVC Solutions through the project "Smart cities towards the digital transformation of cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina", which is implemented through a development partnership with the companies Lanaco d.o.o., DVC Solutions d.o.o. within the develoPPP framework. de program implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation/Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ), in cooperation with the Bit Alliance association.
