Bit Alliance, the leading IT association from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Macedonian Video Game Industry Association (MGI) signed a memorandum of cooperation with the aim of strengthening the gaming industry in the Balkans. The memorandum was signed by Gorast Cvetkovski, president of MGI, and Damir Maglajlić, executive director of Bit Alliance, during the joint regional meeting of the Western Balkan cluster held in Perast (Montenegro).

The agreement was signed with a focus on supporting the development of gaming startups, organizing joint events and promoting the industry through the exchange of knowledge.

"This cooperation represents a key step towards improving the gaming industry in the Balkans. Bit Alliance recognizes the enormous potential that this sector has, not only for economic growth, but also for attracting young talents who are passionate about video game development. Through this cooperation with MGI, we believe that we will succeed in building a platform that will enable better visibility and support for development teams, both through joint events and through access to resources and education. Our goal is to create an environment in which young developers will have the opportunity to realize their ideas, but also that the regional gaming scene is positioned as a relevant player on a global level." - said Maglajlić.

"This is an important step for our common industry, especially for young developers," added Cvetkovski. The cooperation will enable joint work on improving policies and providing greater opportunities for the growth of the gaming sector in the region.

It is expected that this initiative will bring positive changes in the regional video game industry and further connect the markets in the region.
