In mid-February, the Cooperation Agreement between the Faculty of Traffic and Communications of the University of Sarajevo and Bit Alliance was signed, and the agreement was signed by the dean prof. Dr. Amel Kosovac and executive director Damir Maglajlić. With the agreement, they undertook to cooperate with each other in the spirit of the best cooperation and goodwill with the aim of strengthening, improving and developing the information society in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Within the framework of cooperation with B&H faculties, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Faculty of Traffic and Communication and Bit Alliance. Dean Kosovac states that the students of the Faculty of Transport and Communications will benefit the most from this agreement, who, in addition to the theoretical knowledge they acquire during their studies, will have the opportunity to acquire professional knowledge and thus become competitive on the labor market.
"The lack of qualified staff and poorly developed infrastructure in the IT industry are accompanied by a lack of development incentives. In this direction, this agreement opens new doors to the best possible and high-quality practical knowledge of students during and after graduation. I think this will open up a lot of opportunities for us to organize different types of student internships and other types of cooperation with the faculty," said Damir Maglajlić, executive director of Bit Alliance.

Quality education for students
The Faculty of Traffic and Communications of the University of Sarajevo is the oldest and most eminent institution that educates personnel in the field of traffic and communications. Plans and projects on the adjustment of the Faculty's work program, within the framework of which projects related to this agreement will be considered, are expected already in the coming period. This cooperation aims to strengthen the Faculty's capacity and create space for all students for better education and employment.
"In the future, the Faculty will work on changes to the curriculum, that is, in consultation with Bit Alliance, it will try to create the best curricula and programs that will enable students to approach the labor market and that Bit Alliance, as an alliance that gathers the largest number of companies from the IT sector, has better staff", said Dean Kosovac and added that the Faculty of Transport and Communications will have the opportunity to conduct professional education in the aforementioned field.
Such and similar projects of mutual cooperation of the faculties of Bosnia and Herzegovina with companies, associations and others that directly or indirectly participate in improving the quality of knowledge of our students is an extremely important item both in the study itself and in the future easier finding of suitable employment, and the acquired quality of knowledge itself guarantees a general improvement of the complete situation in all spheres.
