DigitalnoVrijeme.ba - for a better digital life in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In March 2020, as a response to the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, Bit Alliance launched DigitalnoVrijeme.ba – the first portal in Bosnia and Herzegovina that integrates free online content and tools in one place. The goal of this initiative was to help citizens of BiH, the diaspora, and the wider region stay connected, active, and informed during the period of isolation.

DigitalnoVrijeme.ba offers an overview of diverse digital resources, including:

• Domestic and international online courses, including those from Ivy League universities

• Virtual visits to world museums and theaters across Bosnia and Herzegovina

• Free books for adults and children

• Tips for maintaining mental and physical health

• Information on volunteer initiatives and citizen support programs

Long-Term Impact

DigitalnoVrijeme.ba became a central digital meeting point for citizens and the diaspora during the crisis period, promoting solidarity, empathy, and togetherness through technology. The project demonstrated how digital transformation can carry social value and contribute to the resilience of communities.
